Website care plans from £99 a month
Managed hosting, security updates, backups and a real person to email when something breaks. For businesses in Luton, Bedfordshire and across the UK.
What a website care plan actually is
A website care plan is a monthly service that keeps a business website online, secure and current. It covers the work that has no natural owner once a site has launched: hosting, software and security updates, backups, uptime monitoring, small content changes and someone to contact when something goes wrong.
Most small business websites do not fail dramatically. They drift. An update is skipped, then a certificate lapses, then a contact form quietly stops sending, and nobody notices until a customer mentions it. A care plan exists to stop that drift, and it starts from £99 per month.
What is included
Managed hosting
Your site runs on hosting we set up, monitor and pay for. Nothing to renew, nothing to configure.
Security and software updates
Framework, plugin and server updates applied as they land, before they turn into a problem.
Backups and recovery
Regular backups kept off the server, so a bad update or a bad day is something we can roll back.
Uptime monitoring
We find out the site is down before your customers tell you.
Small content updates
New prices, changed opening hours, a swapped photo, a fresh paragraph. Email it over and it gets done.
Technical support
A real person who already knows how your site is built, rather than a ticket queue that starts from zero.
Monthly improvement suggestions
One short note each month on what would make the site work harder, with no obligation to act on it.
SSL and domain admin
Certificates renewed and DNS looked after, so the browser warning never appears.
What is not included
Worth being straight about, so the first invoice holds no surprises.
- New pages or a redesign. These are quoted separately as project work.
- Paid advertising management or social media posting.
- Content writing beyond small edits to what is already there.
- Third-party licence fees, if your site depends on a paid plugin or service.
Who it suits
You already have a site and nobody looks after it
The most common case. It was built once, it still works, and no one has touched the updates in a year.
Your developer has moved on
Whoever built it is unreachable, and you need someone who can pick the setup up without a rebuild.
You launched with us and want it to stay current
Every build includes 30 days of post-launch support. A care plan is what continues after that.
With a plan and without one
| The job | On your own | On a care plan |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting renewals and billing | You track it, and the site goes down when a card expires | Handled and included |
| Security patches | Applied when someone remembers | Applied as they are released |
| Site goes down at 7pm | You find out from a customer | Monitoring flags it and we act |
| Changing a price or a phone number | A quote, a wait, and a minimum charge | Email it over, no extra cost |
| Something breaks after an update | Hourly rate, and a developer learning your site first | Rolled back from backup |
Common questions
What is a website care plan?
A website care plan is a monthly service that keeps a business website online, secure and current. It typically covers managed hosting, security and software updates, backups, uptime monitoring, small content changes and technical support. Quantara Digital care plans start from £99 per month.
Do I actually need one?
If your website only exists as a brochure and you are comfortable handling hosting, updates and backups yourself, then no. If the site brings in enquiries, takes bookings or handles payments, then the cost of it being down or compromised is usually higher than the plan.
Do you only support sites you built?
No. We take on existing websites. We start with a short audit of how the site is built and hosted, and tell you honestly if it is in a state we can support or if it needs work first.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
Terms are confirmed in writing before anything starts. We do not lock anyone into a long minimum term, and you own your site and your domain throughout.
What happens if I cancel?
You get a full copy of the site and its database, and help pointing the domain wherever you want it to go next. Nothing is held hostage.
How fast do you respond?
Small content changes are usually turned around within two working days. Anything that has taken the site offline is picked up the same working day.
Still unsure? Send us the address of your site and we will tell you what shape it is in, whether or not you go on to a plan. Or call +44 7565 727032.
Get your site looked after
Tell us where your website lives and who built it. We will confirm what a plan would cover and what it would cost, in writing, before anything starts.
